Pragmatic Dave as created a plugin that will automagically add the appropriate table schema at the top of each of your model files!
Anyone who has worked with Rails and a database, even a tiny bit, should instantly recognize the usefulness of this simple little thing!

2/27 in 1:22. Note: I’m using the auto-hints now. Hit the Space Bar to enable them. Why? The higher order problems (which demand hints) are much more interesting to solve; however, it makes the easier puzzles nearly brainless.

Back in the day (‘92-ish) my friend and I used to use the ftp search engines to find files we were interested in. Namely, warez. :)
Anyway, that tradition has lived on throughout the years. It’s easy to find tons of webcams, open administration web pages, and the list goes on.
Google makes more directed searches easier these days. This article summarizes how to do this in Google.

RJ Elliott both admits to being a Bush supporter and says “It didn’t work” in Iraq in this blog post.
He makes a few mistakes in his post, but that’s not the point. The point is, c’mon folks, it’s time to admit you fucked up by supporting crooks and liars. That’s nearly all of you; as the Democrats are just as culpable in this horrific mess.
A big problem with our “system” of government is our emphasis on two giant political parties. What we have now with both Democrats and Republicans is a situation that’s very bad for the United States. In each case, there are hordes of uninformed people signed up for each side. These people make a decision, “I’m a Democrat”, or “I’m a Republican”, and then they proceed to cheer for “their side”. This cheering is rather blind in its support for obvious criminal politician slimebags, and they certainly don’t want to ever admit mistakes or even defeat. Never mind electing the best candidate, be it Democrat, Republican, or other. They want their team to WIN! It’s like political NASCAR.
This is Idiot America. When it’s time to vote, our idiot populous just looks down the ballot for little (R)’s and (D)’s, checking off whichever side they signed up for.
Open your eyes. Spend some time finding a real candidate – they are out there. Vote your conscience, not your “team”!

It’s all for show, it always has been. Most of what we’re forced to go through is actually increasing our security. In fact, I’ll choose driving over flying these days, even if it takes me a bit longer to get to my destination.
Peggy Noonan sums up my thoughts nicely in this WSJ Opinion Piece.

WSBK starts back up this weekend, in Doha, Qatar. It should be a kick ass season too, with lots of MotoGP talent trickling back down. I’m looking for Bayliss to get back to his old WSBK form!

Schwinn is making scooters now. And they’re pretty cheap too!
I’ve observed a rise in scooters out and about in this time of fuel price pressure. That’s a good thing.

Wow, I can barely believe this news! Anthony Gobert will ride World Supersport in place of Checa who just broke his arm in a crash!
Please, Anthony, kick some ass for us!

My wife’s been saying it to me for years. Don’t use non-stick pans - they’re evil. Not too long ago I followed her advice and stopped using them, even for my eggs.
Carl Tashian provides several links in this article about the badness in Teflon. He also goes on to talk about alternatives and methods to deal with “stickiness”. Particularly of interest to me is his dispelling of the myth that you don’t preheat your pan. Of course you preheat your pan! It’s not somehow “bad for the pan”.
Personally I’ve had my eyes on All-Clad’s Copper Core cookware. But, it’s expensive, and so it’s on the back burner for now.
