I went to a talk by Dr. Arnie Baker last week with Cathy. He showed some of the case for Floyd’s innocence (by the rules). It was quite compelling, and I’m not certain that Floyd should not be held as a doper.
The talk drew quite a crowd and now they’ve got video of it posted online! Get it here.
Go watch it, tell me what you think!
Update: Better, easier to access, mirrors are up at archive.org.

I do. I also remember when they sucked. They’re still pretty easy, but they suck much less. Some rule.

Anyone who’s lived in New Orleans would probably expect this. Outsiders may be surprised, but insiders certainly won’t.

The recoil on this thing is amazing. The talent of the guy behind the thing is amazing. Wow!

And my friend Nate video taped it.
I’ll set this up.. It was last year, the first year MotoGP came back, and Laguna Seca was a giant mess. Parking was a horrific situation, but we avoided that by taking the bus in and out of traffic. People in cars, and even on bikes, were screwed, and many actually turned around and left after sitting in traffic for 3 or 4 hours.
Once you got into the track, you had to deal with foot traffic. Now it was ok pretty much everywhere except the narrow area between Dunlop bridge and the main food vendor and souvenir shop area. That had so many people in it it was bordering dangerous. It was probably taking 15 minutes to move a few 100 feet.
Anyway, we saw Tommy Hayden come through after an autograph session, and thought to ourselves, man that sucks. Then a few minutes later Roger Lee came through and I yelled out at him to just hop the chain link fence and he’d be right in the paddock.

Google’s got their PayPal warrior going, in Checkout. Maybe it’s a slightly different space. You know, PayPal started out as a really nice way to send cash to a friend via email. But they’ve made that part of their service too expensive. So I guess PayPal’s really all about e-commerce now, and that’s what Checkout is about.
I’ll be looking into the API myself for an upcoming website.

This is obvious to me. All of chrstianity is, umm, stupid mythical crap.
But Penn & Teller boil it down so that idiots might also understand in this video. Good luck though. In my experience, idiots cling pretty tightly to this crap.
More good reading is the Skeptics Annotated Bible where the bible is essentially torn apart like starving TJ whores might do to an ignorant drunk college boy.

If you don’t know, RAAM is the annual Race Across America – on bicycles. These cyclists freakin’ rule!
Yah.. no shit. Rob sends this in. A chase truck is streaming live video to a satellite, which you can watch right in your browser. Ten years ago, if you’d have told me that we’d be able to do this in the relatively near future, I would have told you to go fuck yourself.
Watch the video here.
Oh yah.. you can send them messages too! Ride on!!!

Here’s a very short video I shot while I was up at Sears Point with my friend Ralf.

All.. Update your PSP to 2.71. Do it. Then fire up the web browser, go to the PSP home page (Bookmarks -> PSP). Click on the news item about “2.71 Downloadable Demo”. You can download LocoRoco and play it. Yes, this is great! Took them awhile, but wow, it opens up LOTS of opportunity.
Second, Gamespot’s got a video, PSP One Year Later.
